Terms of Service

1. What the Service is

Slide15 is a sliding-tile puzzle game. The browser version and the ChatGPT app are free and require no account. The iOS app is free to download and offers optional in-app purchases that unlock additional content; purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

We may change, add or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or stop the Service, in whole or in part, without notice. We will try to avoid doing so in ways that surprise you.

2. Using the Service

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell or reverse-engineer the Service or its content, except where the law expressly allows it.

You may not use automated tools to overload the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other people's use of it. Reports of security issues are welcome at the contact address below.

3. Pictures you upload

The picture puzzle turns an image you choose into a puzzle. The image is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers or stored by us. You are responsible for having the right to use any image you load into the Service.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, sounds, level designs and text, belongs to the operator of Slide15 and is protected by copyright and related laws. The 15 puzzle itself is a public-domain game; our implementation of it is not.

Slide15 and the Slide15 logo are our marks. You may not use them without written permission, except to refer to the Service truthfully.

5. Third-party platforms

The iOS app is distributed through the Apple App Store and the ChatGPT app through OpenAI's ChatGPT. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for those platforms, and they are not responsible for the Service.

6. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: the browser and ChatGPT versions collect only anonymous usage analytics, and the iOS app collects what its store listing discloses.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, which for the free versions is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law grants you and that cannot be limited by contract.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
