Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

1.1 Data stored locally on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Game progress, daily streak and level completion status
• Game settings and preferences (sound, music, haptics, language)
• High scores and achievements
• Premium purchase status

This stored data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties. The usage events in sections 1.3 to 1.5 are separate.

1.2 Advertising data (collected by Google AdMob)

To support free gameplay, Slide15 displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers (IDFA - Identifier for Advertisers)
• Device information (device type, OS version)
• Ad interaction data (ad views, clicks)
• General location (country/region, derived from IP address)

AdMob processes this data for showing personalized advertisements, measuring ad performance, and preventing fraud. We do not have access to this data — it is collected, processed, and stored by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy.

1.3 Usage analytics in the Slide15 app

The Slide15 iOS app sends usage events to Google Firebase Analytics and to the Meta (Facebook) SDK. We use these events to understand how people play and to improve the game. The events include:

• Gameplay events: levels started, completed or abandoned, moves, time, game mode and daily streak
• App events: screens opened, buttons tapped, settings changed and notifications opened
• Purchase and ad events: premium offer shown, purchase started, completed or cancelled (product and price only), ad shown or tapped
• Technical data: a random app-instance identifier, app version, device model, OS version and language
• Approximate location (country or city), which Google and Meta derive from your IP address

These events do not include your name, email address, contacts or photos. Meta receives the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking (section 2.1).

1.4 Website analytics (slide15.com)

The website uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics records the pages you open, events in the web version of the game (for example, levels started and completed), your browser, device type, language and approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies to recognize a returning browser. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. In the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the website loads Google Analytics only after you accept cookies in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

1.5 Slide15 in ChatGPT

When you play Slide15 inside ChatGPT, the game sends a small set of usage events to our server. Our server forwards them to Google Analytics. The events include:

• Game opened, level started, level completed, new level and reshuffle
• Moves, time, board details and the language of the game
• A random identifier that the game creates and keeps in its own browser storage, and a random identifier for each visit
• Country, which our hosting provider (Vercel) derives from the connection. We do not forward your IP address to Google Analytics
• Browser, operating system and device type, read from the user agent of your browser

When ChatGPT starts the game, we also count the call. This count contains only the tool name, the language and a technical session identifier that ChatGPT assigns to the connection.

We do not receive your ChatGPT conversation, your messages, your name, your email address or your ChatGPT account details. Our server uses only the language that ChatGPT passes to the game.

To turn off these analytics, enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. The game then sends no analytics events.

2. Your privacy choices

2.1 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

When you first launch Slide15, you'll see a system prompt asking permission to track your activity across other apps and websites. This is required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

If you allow tracking: AdMob can use your IDFA to show personalized ads based on your interests; ads may be more relevant.

If you deny tracking: AdMob shows non-personalized (contextual) ads instead. You'll still see the same number of ads, but they won't be tailored to your interests.

You can change this anytime in: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Slide15.

2.2 Premium version (no ads)

You can purchase Premium to remove all advertisements permanently. Once purchased, no advertising data is collected.

2.3 Analytics choices

• ChatGPT: enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. The game then sends no analytics (section 1.5)
• Website: use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, block cookies for slide15.com in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on
• iOS app: deny tracking (section 2.1) so that Meta does not receive the advertising identifier. To delete analytics data, email us (section 13)

3. How we use information

3.1 Data we collect directly

We do not collect your name, email address or other contact details. We receive pseudonymous usage analytics, as described in sections 1.3 to 1.5. We use them only to understand how the game is played and to improve it, for example to find levels that are too hard. We do not sell this data, and we do not try to identify you.

3.2 Data collected by third parties

Google AdMob collects and processes advertising data as described in Section 1.2. This data is used solely for advertising purposes and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data sharing

4.1 What we share

We do not sell or rent data. Usage analytics go to Google (Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics) and to Meta, as described in section 1. The website and the game in ChatGPT run on Vercel. Vercel processes standard request logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the service.

4.2 What AdMob shares

Google AdMob may share advertising data with advertisers, ad measurement partners, and other Google services for ad personalization and fraud prevention. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.

5. In-app purchases

In-app purchases (Premium) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. Refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles payment data.

6. Children's privacy

Slide15 is suitable for ages 4+. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act):

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
• AdMob displays age-appropriate ads only
• Parents can disable personalized ads through device settings

If you believe your child has provided personal information to AdMob, please contact us immediately.

7. Third-party services

Slide15 uses these third-party services:

We do not use crash reporting services, and we do not sell data to data brokers.

8. Data security

• Local game data is stored securely on your device using iOS standard storage
• Advertising data is transmitted to AdMob over encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• Analytics events are sent to Google and Meta over encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• We recommend keeping your device backed up through iCloud (optional)

9. Data retention

9.1 Local data

Game progress data remains on your device until you delete the app.

9.2 Advertising data

AdMob retains advertising data according to Google's data retention policies.

9.3 Analytics data

Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics keep event-level data for 14 months and then delete it. Meta keeps app event data according to the Meta Privacy Policy.

10. Your rights

10.1 Rights regarding local data

• Delete: uninstall the app to remove all local game data
• Reset: reset your progress through in-game settings
• Backup: control device backup settings independently

10.2 Rights regarding advertising data

• Opt-out of personalized ads: disable tracking in iOS Settings
• Request data deletion: contact Google through their privacy controls
• Learn about your data: visit Google Ads Settings

10.3 GDPR rights (EU users)

If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. To exercise these rights regarding advertising data, contact Google through their privacy controls.

10.4 Rights regarding analytics data

To ask for access to or deletion of your analytics data, email us (section 13). We delete the analytics data that we can link to your request in Google Analytics and Firebase.

11. International data transfers

AdMob may transfer and process data outside your country of residence, including to the United States. These transfers are protected by Google's compliance with applicable data protection laws and standard contractual clauses.

Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Meta and Vercel can also process data in the United States and in other countries. They use their own safeguards for international transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications. Please review this policy periodically.
